Derek Kasten
President
Derek joined the family roofing business at a young age, starting with warehouse work and progressing to roofing crews. After earning a Computer Office Specialist degree from WTC, he streamlined the company's bidding process as an estimator. He and his wife have five children. Following his father Charlie's 50-year career, Derek now leads the business alongside his brother-in-law, Jon Kloehn.

Mike Pamperin
Estimator
Michael is a full-time Estimator. His primary role consists of client relations, estimating, project management and drafting. He has a civil engineering degree, along with extensive knowledge and experience utilizing software related to his profession. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and tackling home improvement projects.
Dalton Kloehn
Estimator
Dalton is a full-time Estimator with expertise in client and supplier relations, estimating, project management, and financial reporting. He holds a degree in Business Management and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and pursues interests in sports, fitness, and home renovation projects.
Clay Kirschbaum
Service Department
Clay handles the service crews, dispatching the crews to manage clients that are in need of repairs. Clays off time he is spending time with his family and friends.
Keri Steinfeldt
Human Resources
Keri has been with Interstate Roofing since 2016. She takes care of payroll, benefits administration and hiring. She has a degree in Supervisory Management. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs. We enjoy camping, fishing and cooking.
Chris Gerdes
A/R & Job Cost
With the exception of two years, Chris has been with Interstate Roofing since 1990. She handles accounts receivable, inventory posting and job cost. Chris has an Associate Degree in Accounting along with a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her dog, planting flowers and boating.
AJ Eklov
Accounts Payable/Admin
AJ joined the team in 2019 as the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. She has over 26 years of administrative and accounting background and earned her Associates Degree in Office Computer Specialist. In her spare time, she looks forward to crafting and baking treats for the office staff and crews.
